Will the Galaxy SIII just be a “incremental upgrade"?

Recently an insider has claimed that the Galaxy SIII -which is to be unveiled on the 3rd of May is just an "incremental" upgrade instead of an all round brand new device, similar to what the iPhone 4S was to the 4. The insider also claims that the naming of the Galaxy S devices will be altered, paralleling Apple with their "New iPad" instead of "iPad 3"

If this were true, then instead of the HD screen we've been hearing so much about, we'd probably see the current screen featured on the Galaxy S2 enlarged by less than half an inch, a faster processor (could still be a quad-core chip) and maybe a few aesthetic changes for the bigger battery to accommodate for the extra two cores.

In my opinion, an "overhaul" of the features on the predecessor instead of brand new features won't be enough to compete with the offerings of other mobile phone companies these day referring to the HTC One X. Remember, The Galaxy S2 literally wiped the floor when it came to a high end device last year. Samsung can do it again and personally I hope they do.

Do you think the much anticipated Galaxy S3 will just be an update? or a totally new device?
