"Amazon Appstore apps earn three times more than Google Play apps"

An article recently posted on the BGR website highlighted something that many people would think is impossible baring in mind that Google has activated more than 5 billion Android devices to date.

However, after much thought. I know why this has occurred. The applications on Android devices can be transmitted via. USB to another device or a laptop to upload to a file sharing website. Users are then free to download to there device, In other words, I can get any money costing app for free. For us, this is great news as it means we don't have to shell money on games that we'll use for month and forget about but for Google, this is bad as it means less revenue is generated.

In my opinion, while this is great for the users. It simply isn't fair as the developer isn't getting credited at all for you to use the application and I'm sure that's what all developers are expecting when they spend their time fine tuning an application. So, I'm going to conclude that we should pay for premium applications.

What are your thoughts on this?
