Nokia CEO Claims Multicore CPU a "Waste Of Battery"

Recently, In a interview Stephen Elop told Yangcheng Evening News that "The so-called dual-core, quad-core mobile phones can only waste batteries, but not be useful for consumers all the time"

Why do I find this a typical thing to say? It's like when two people have a debate over whose phone is better and one person eventually higlights the most smallest feature on the phone which inevitable gives them a lead. However, Nokia claiming that multicore CPUs are a waste of battery is child's play.

Child's play due to the fact that the Window's OS isn't compatible with multi-core CPU's and by stating this, they make an disadvantage look like a advantage. Pathetic. Surely, if I had the time I'd conduct a CPU test to see if the recently released single core Lumia 900 can stand up to a android phone or iPhone with a multicore CPU.
