First Intel powered Smartphone in stores soon!

The Lava Xolo 900 -a.k.a the first Intel powered smartphone, is to be released within the next few days according CEO Paul Ottelini during the company's Q1 earnings call. The smartphone will be powered by Intel's single-core Atom Z2460 processor chip and will be clocked at 1.6Ghz.

The Xolo 900 sports a 4 inch TFT display with a resolution of 600x1024 giving way to a pixel density of 297ppi. Other hardware highlights include 1GB of RAM, a 8MP rear facing autofocus camera and NFC compatibility. The device comes with Android 2.3 but will be later updated to 4.0 shortly after release.
