Sony has just announced two more additions to their Xperia line up, the Xperia Go and Acro S. Both of which are said to ship in Q3 of 2012. Both handsets are waterproof but have relatively good specs.

The device runs on Android 2.3 out of the box but is planned to be upgraded to Android 4.0 shortly after release. The device boasts a 5MP rear-facing camera and comes with 8GBs of internal storage.

The Xperia Acro S sounds like a flagship device and it sure could be with it's specs. The Acro S packs a LED backlit LCD display with a resolution of 720x1280, it runs a Dual-core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. This device runs Android 4.0 out of the box and will most likely be able to see Jelly Bean (next android). Both phones a IP67 certified allowing them to be waterproof for up to 1m for 30mins. So, if your wanting a near-enough top end smartphone you could get the Acro S or if your looking for a budget smartphone but wnt it to be waterproof, get the Go.
