The United States network, Cricket is now offering the Huawei Ascend Q for a pre-pay price of $140 or on contract $55 (Unlimited mins, texts and data). The phone itself is a entry-level/budget Android handset but may be good for text-aholics as it does come with a QWERTY keyboard.

The Ascend Q packs a 3.2-inch HVGA (320x480) display, powered by a single-core processor clocked at 800MHz with 512MB of RAM. Cameras on device includes a 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera and no front-facing camera. The device packs a 4-inch WVGA (480x800) display, powered by a single-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.4GHz with 768MB of RAM. The device features two cameras, one 5-megapixel rear-facer and a 1.3-megapixel front facer for video calling.
