HTC Ville C specs leaked...

BriefMobile has been handed a spec sheet for a device called "Ville C" by a unknown source. The device is reportedly a budget variant of the HTC One S but is said to be a "ultra slim" device.

The spec list shows us he device will sport a 4.3-inch AMOLED qHD resolution screen, powered by a 1.2GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm processor with 1GB of RAM running on Android 4.0, the processor is listed as 1.7GHz but it is apparently a typo, right. The device will boast a 8MP rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The device will house a battery with a capacity of 1,650mAh.

Chances are the looks of the device will most likely take design cues from the HTC One series, but we'll have to wait to see how slim HTC will be going with this device.

Samsung announces Omnia M...

Samsung have announced a new Windows Phone based device, the Omnia M and is said to be coming to the U.K. pretty soon. However, you'd be forgiven to think that this phone has almost same specs as the 2010 Omnia 7, because well, it does.

The Omnia M packs a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480x800 giving out a pixel density of 233PPI. The device runs on a Single-core 1GHz processor with 384MB of RAM. Cameras include a 5MP rear-facing camera capable of shooting 720p videos and a 0.3MP front facing camera for video calls. The device has 4GB of internal storage which can't be expanded and runs on 7.5 Mango.

Overall, this phone is a very minimal upgrade (or should I say large downgrade?). Specs like these used to be mid-range but I see them as low-range nowadays. The only way of telling the Omnia 7 and M apart is the physical look of the device which does look very nice, fitting in with the design of most phones produced by Samsung.

Samsung have finally unveiled the hugely speculated Galaxy SIII at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012 event in London.

The device sports a 4.8-inch Super-AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 720x1280 weighing the phone in at a pixel density of 306PPI. The phone is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad core Exynos processor.

The phone features a 8 megapixel rear facing camera with "burst shoot" capability, this feature is similar to the HTC One which enables you to take multiple photos ans pick the next one, with the rear-facing camera comes a 1.9 mega pixel front-facing camera. Battery capacity is 2100mAh with the optional extra of wireless charging.

New features to the software side include S-Voice which is similar to Siri on the iPhone, S-Beam which can transfer files up 300mbps. Samsung has also partnered up with DropBox enabling owners of this device 50Gbs's of free cloud storage. All in all, this device is definitely not a disappointment.

Huawei Ascend P1

Huawei have anounced the availability of their super slim Ascend P1 smartphone, their announcement tells us that the device will launch in May in Australia, Taiwan and Hong Kong, it will then launch in Europe around Summer time.

I am personally looking forward to seeing this device because of it's mind blowing 7.7mm thickness! other than that, the device sports a 4.3 inch qHD AMOLED screen, powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor with a rear facing 8MP camera and 1.3MP front facing camera for video calling.

The device has a 1,670mAh battery which seems to be a very low capacity baring in mind the specs of the device, which will ultimately mean that battery life is rubbish.

Do you think 7.7mm is too thin? or just right?
